"It was," Lucy calls out, answering the question for Hopper. She steps closer and rises up on her toes to give him a kiss before patting his shoulder gently. It's good to see him, it always is, and she just has to sneak that moment before they're joined by Beverly.

"Hello, Beverly," she says, waving as she spots the other girl. This could be awkward, she knows, but she and Beverly have talked before which makes it a little easier. She still doesn't want to mess up but it's not terribly strange.
