It takes a surprising amount of effort not to let a hysterical laugh bubble out of her at that. If she wants, as if there's any chance she wouldn't take the opportunity to have an actual home and seize it with both hands, as if the idea of being safe somewhere isn't headily appealing. Just considering it is a little surreal, but it isn't as if she's started spending more nights than not at Hopper's for any sense of convenience. Even before she's found the words for it, Beverly knows what her answer is, what it has to be. She has friends at the Home, but no matter how much she loves Eddie or how guilty some part of her feels at the idea of leaving him, she doesn't want to spend four more years waiting to age out and move somewhere on her own. She'll still see him, and Eponine, and Cosette.
